🐾 Dogs in the Pub Policy

We love welcoming dogs in our pubs —our team and most of our guests are big dog fans.

From Dachshunds to Dalmatians, Collies to Cockers - we love them all.

We can provide bowls of water, or treats from our 'Pooch Park Doggie Bar'.

However, please bear in mind that not all our guests are dog lovers and we have to respect that. Some guests may have a fear of dogs or allergies to their fur.

Due to the increased number of four legged guests in our pubs, we have introduced these guidelines so that all our guests can relax and feel comfortable.

To make sure that everyone (both two-legged and four-legged) has a safe and enjoyable visit, we ask that all dogs and their owners follow these guidelines please :

Dogs must be:

  • Well-behaved and under close control at all times – no excessive barking, jumping up, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Kept on a lead while inside the pub and in outdoor seating areas.
  • Comfortable around people and other dogs – if your dog becomes anxious or reactive, we may have to ask you to step outside.
  • House-trained – please clean up any unfortunate accidents
  • Kept off furniture please – including chairs, sofas, and tables.
  • Supervised at all times – please don’t leave your dogs unattended anywhere on the premises.

For everyone’s safety and comfort (including the dog) :

  • Dogs must be positioned so they do not create a trip hazard or obstruct walkways, entrances, exits, or service areas.
  • Please ensure that your dog does not interfere with any team carrying food or drinks.
  • We may have to ask you to reposition your dog if needed, particularly during busy periods - for everyone’s safety.

Please note:

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to or ask any dog and owner to leave if these guidelines are not followed.

We are proud to be a dog-friendly pub—thank you for helping us keep it that way 🐶🍻
