Willington Bridge Closure, 2nd-5th April 2024

Please be aware, the bridge connecting Willington and Repton will be CLOSED from 2nd April 2024 to 5th April 2024... ❌

You may need to leave extra time for your journey if you are visiting us on these dates.

Alternative routes:

If you are coming from the NORTH - the quickest route is via Swarkestone, passing through Ingleby, Foremark and Milton... (14 min detour)

  • Come off the A38 at the usual Toyota Junction - however you will need to take the A50 slip road towards M1 South/Nottingham/East Midlands Airport...
  • Continue along the A50 for 4.5 miles, then take the A514 exit towards B587/Swadlincote/Melbourne
  • At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Swarkestone road/A514
  • At the 3-way junction in Swarkestone, turn onto the A514 going towards Swarkestone bridge
  • Take the 2nd right turning towards Swarkestone Sailing Club
  • Continue straight along the road all the way through Ingleby until you reach a 4-way junction
  • Take a right turn, and then continue straight along the road - you will pass Foremark, and eventually reach Milton
  • At the T-junction in Milton, take a right turn onto Milton Road
  • Follow the road until you reach Repton... You will come out at the Repton Cross roundabout.

If you are coming from SOUTH of Burton - the quickest route is to come off the A38 at the Branston junction... (10 min detour)

This will take you via Burton, and then into Repton through Newton Solney...

  • Coming off the A38 at Branston, take the 3rd exit onto Parkway/A5121
  • Continue along Branston Road for around 2 miles, and then turn right at the roundabout by the Tesco Superstore
  • At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Stapenhill Road
  • Continue straight on for 1 mile, then at the crossroads, continue straight over onto Newton Road
  • Continue straight along Newton Road - you will pass through Newton Solney and onto Repton Road, then Burton Road, and eventually you will reach Repton... You will come out at the Repton Cross roundabout.
